Echo Moon City is a prototype developed by Starbender Labs as part of the Code Coven Solstice Program in 2023. I served as the primary game designer for the project where my responsibilities included designing the core systems of the game, creating the design documentation, collaborating with our programmer to supervise the implementation of the game’s systems, and designing the level in Unreal Engine 5 (this includes lighting, asset placement, and grey-boxing). Another member of the team, Ghost, was responsible for creating the original grey-boxed homes, worked alongside me to draft a 2D map of the level, and provided lighting assistance. The in-game screenshots below were taken by Ghost and myself.
